Unlike other binders out there, we hone in on all the details that are necessary for all body types, especially our youth. We use top of the line, high quality fabrics and we worked tirelessly to create the best design that met all the needs of this garment. The Apollo Binder has been instrumental in helping individuals get the look they desire and feel like their best selves when wearing them.
Which means EVERYTHING!
The front panel of our binder has a three-layer system that beautifully compresses the chest. Our binder does not hug the ribcage, which is awesome because it is still a very effective compression where it is needed, yet allows the wearer to breathe comfortably.
The outer layer is spandex, the middle (compression) layer is organic cotton twill, and the lining is a nylon mesh. The back has two layers of spandex, which makes it easy to put on and take off, and also helps with breathability. Our binders, with their scooped neckline and slightly lower armholes - have these specific details included in our design so one can wear loose-fitting t-shirts and tank tops over and our binder remains discreet! Works for any age. Really beautiful look and feel to this special garment.

You will need the following items:
Before measuring: wear either a fitted t-shirt or a tank top. Do not wear a sports bra or any type of compression or binder before measuring - we want to get the most accurate measurement possible!
Starting at ‘zero’ on your measuring tape, wrap the tape around your chest at the fullest part of your chest. Make sure the tape is at the same level all around your body and parallel to the floor. Have the tape meet at your center; you want it to be pulled taut but not pinching your skin or compressing your chest at all.
Holding the tape, breathe in and exhale, and then take the measurement to the nearest 1/4 of an inch where the tape overlaps itself. (See photo)
Be honest!
We want you to be perfectly comfortable in your awesome binder!
Sometimes it is helpful to stand in front of a mirror when taking measurements to see the numbers in the reflection; and to make sure your tape is horizontally even.
Write down this number. (Example: 37”)
This measurement is across your back, from shoulder blade to shoulder blade. You want this measurement to be from the highest and widest point from one shoulder straight across to the other shoulder. Holding the measuring tape at zero, place one end firmly at your back left shoulder and then pull across to the right at the widest part. The measuring tape may arc slightly up in the center and back down to the other shoulder point; this will give you the most accurate measurement. (See Photo)
This measurement is extremely important because this will determine your comfort in taking the binder on and off. Take the measurement two times; if you find you are in between sizes, choose the larger size.
Write down this number. (Example: 16”)

It fits and binds super well! My bust measurement was reduced by 3 inches and it was still comfortable! The bottom is a bit gappy, but that is unavoidable for people with smallish ribs. -Theo :)

I got this binder for my 13 year old. Thank you so much for making a product that is made specifically for changing bodies. I was extremely hesitate to get one. I like many other parents worried about what issues it could cause in the future. After reading lots of research I realized that if we follow the guidelines and check in with our primary care provider to make sure things fit they way they should and remind my child about proper usage the good outweighs the risk. The reaction I got from my child when it was tried on was worth every penny that I spent. The sheer joy of feeling comfort in their own skin was worth giving in to my fears. The only issue was what others have said which is that it’s a little loose on in the front around the band, but it does not affect the coverage and doesn’t show with a loose shirt. Thank again!!!

The Apollo looks great and was super comfortable for my son but unfortunately it didn’t fit my son as well as the Phoenix Sports top…it was a bit loose around the rib cage so it didn’t lie flat under his shirt.

My kid’s favorite binder.
This is an amazing company. I purchased a binder for my son but it ended up being too large. I emailed them and they responded quickly, offering help to choose based on his measurements. I unfortunately never answered because my son ended up in the ICU with a string of inpatient psych stays, after being horrifically bullied. He had other binders but the school already knew he was trans. It was a chaotic and soul-shattering time, but he's grown into the binder and loves it. Upon entering a new school where he's only known as a boy, the bullying has let up. This binder keeps him so compressed that you'd never know he's wearing it. It fits seamlessly even with more fitted tops. Plus it came with a cute lil hand-written card and sticker. I adore this company, thank you for all you do. ❤️
